About Me

I’ve been a professional software consultant since 2012.

I’ve worked with companies around the world, from very small businesses up to late-series-funded SaaS startups. I specialize in identifying and fixing gaps, weaknesses, and bottlenecks for small- and medium-sized businesses.

When I work with clients in the software industry, I work as a ‘principal/staff software developer’ or as a ‘fractional CTO’.

I bring compassion, trustworthiness, and a gentle sense of humour to my engagements. I deliver results through strong executive competency, a capacity for quick learning, and a wide breadth of knowledge.

I’ve done copywriting, conversion optimization, drip campaigns, productivity andenablement, systems integration, infrastructure/operations, application development, and more for my clients, but if I’m not the best person to solve the problem for you, I’ll connect you with the right professional and help interface with them.

Outside of my day job, I run a small farm in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, with my wife, three kids, forty chickens, five rabbits, two bee colonies, and one dog. In my spare time, I enjoy music and woodworking.
